About

INTERIGHTS. London, UK.

Closing date: March 16, 2009.

Description:

Salary £29,202

This post is a great opportunity to use and develop your fundraising skills in an international human rights charity based in London. INTERIGHTS aims to promote human rights through the use of law. We work to ensure that human rights are defended effectively in both domestic courts and before regional and international bodies.

The Fundraising Officer post is new to the organisation and represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Fundraising and Communication team aim of raising the necessary financial support for INTERIGHTS to deliver its legal work and meet its organisational goals. The team also manages the organisations’ on and off line publications and communications work, the organisational relationship management database and website.

INTERIGHTS is projecting a level of fundraising income for the year 2008/9 of £1.6m. The overwhelming majority of this income comes from Trust, Foundation and governmental donors. Our fundraising strategy for next few years is to broaden our pool of donors and reach out to a more diverse range of funders which may include lower level trust donors and major individual supporters.

For more information please see the job description and person specification.

To apply please return your completed typed application form by email with ‘Fundraising Officer’ in the subject field, to Michelle Woodbine atmwoodbine@interights.org.

You must also complete an online equal opportunities monitoring form which is available at http://www.smart-survey.co.uk/v.asp?i=7210vnreg.

The closing date is 9am on Monday 16th March 2009 and late applications will not be accepted.
