About

Internships
Interns are an integral part of the success of the SLI. Interns participate in all aspects of work at the SLI, including giving tours, construction and maintenance, gardening, office work, festival management and much more. The internships are hard work!
Interns come from around the world to participate in the daily life and work of the Institute. Previous interns have come from throughout the United States, as well as Poland, South Africa, Chile, Colombia, Israel, Thailand and more. Internships generally last between 3-6 months. Interns live closely with each other, and are provided with rustic accommodations and a minimal seasonally adjusted food allowance. There is no cash payment for interns.
