I think it's a great idea that we have a day set aside on September 21 at the Autumn Equinox to focus on reducing our consumption of fossil fuels. There are other solutions and sooner we use them, the better for this planet and its inhabitants. Heidi Hileman 6:15 pm

Florida can grow jatropha trees whose seed yields an oil that can be used as a biofuel. 10,000 acres of jatropha can make 15 million gallons a year of oil. Heidi Hileman 3:59 pm
