Within the scope of our community and our planet, every positive action we do, and every negative one we don't, counts. Our future depends on our small, incremental actions, and the whole sum of our actions today define the planet of tomorrow.

Micheal Pollan's "Why Bother?" article, which came out on the New York Times on 4/20/2008, makes a good case for the notion that WE, not politicians or corporations, are the only ones who can actually change the future. This group seeks to foster discussion around this notion and most importantly, how to spread this message to the masses.
