This is a group to collaborate on producing the recommendations for the Transition network's web project. We will be identifying the projects needs (social and technical), evaluating existing / emerging platforms, and aim to co-create a draft recommendation document for mid-May 2009.

What we are up to here

We have been using this group space to co-create the recommendations for the web project starting 01/04/09, ending 01/06/09. It's currently not in use.

What is happening right now?

We have written up the recommendations that have come from:

Online discussions (TT fora, Ning workspace, this excellent group)
Face to face interviews and workshops
Survey
Pilots

You can read what we are proposing to deliver on the recommendations page.

We have presented these to the Transition Network board, who have approved them, which is great.If you want to have a read, all our work has been published on a Creative Commons share and share alike licence and available for download here:

	SORRRYY!!!... I've passed this on to our tech team and see if they and can figure out what happened. Fyi, after being a regular netizen, I develop a habbit of copying my comments before hitting the post/reply button on any site. Keeps me sane so many times... Yes, I'm doing it for this comment too. 	It takes ages to upload files & photos on Wiser Earth, sometimes I abandon for a cuppa tea. Is anyone else having the same problem? Steve Atkins 9 months ago

	file uploads have been a bit of an issue; re-uploading is also - possibly a mac thing i'm not sure - but bowo and honore are working on it behind the scenes - there's been a lot of server/software upgrading going on; Ed Mitchell 9 months ago
	Part of the problem with file uploads was the javascript progress bar which tended to hang for some people. We have removed it - so that should solve most problems. Angus Parker 9 months ago
