Welcome
In September 2008, the Transformative Advocacy Exchange (now renamed Southwest Environmental Justice Initiative) to the Southwest convened a delegation of public interest women attorneys and law students to meet with Native American women working for environmental justice and sustainability in their communities.

We were honored to have met with some of the most amazing community leaders throughout the
Four Corners region of the United States. Click on the women's pictures to find out more about the organizations they work with. And to find out more about the women themselves, check out our Meet the Women section. For a detailed account of our journey, please explore the TA Blog section.

If you are interested in joining a future Southwest Environmental Justice exchange,
please contact Caitlin Sislin at caitlin[at]womensearthalliance.org.
