A world that works for all is within our grasp!
Please get stuck in and help shape the opportunities for 'big picture' change that are beyond our expectations but not beyond our imagination. Thinking and actions about planet-scale whole systems can join the dots between entrenched viewpoints and offer a compelling new vision with practical new ways forward. This emerging picture, of a world that works, could quickly become tomorrow's reality.
Everything is open for comment. Our ideas come to life only when shared and shaped. You can also...
- click 'add to your watchlist' to keep track of pages (including this one) and discussions that interest you.
- click 'add to your network' on pages you want to be associated with (and find again more easily).
- chat in the 'what's on your mind?' bit.
- add to the 'resources' (videos, books, sites, organisations etc)
- add files (documents, images etc)
- start discussions around reinventing the systems that cause the symptoms.
- start 'wikipages'. These are especially useful since it works just like a discussion and there's also space at the top to gather our shared understanding. Plus these pages can be shared with other wiserearth groups (unlike discussions).

The strategy of handling problems one at a time, a bit at a time, hasn't worked and cannot work. Time is short but a new strategy is available: it is the ‘system’ that must be fixed, not all the separate symptoms. Habits of thought, world-views and economic rules-of-the-game can be switched from accelerating the damage to reversing it. This isn't academic nor complicated and if acted upon people would soon wonder why it wasn’t done long ago. |
