Become an advocate for social, economic, environmental, and educational justice and inclusion by participating in civic and community activism in San Francisco and beyond.
Our current projects
- Fashions through Futures: SF State students, who are members of the Student Fashion Association (SFA) have partnered with various community organizations, one of which is Visions of la Moda, that offers free hands-on programs for urban youth in the Bayview to introduce them to the fashion industry.
Project Connect: SF State students will mentor high school students in three marginalized San Francisco neighborhoods. Using social networking tools, SF State students will co-develop educational goals with the high school students, who might not otherwise consider higher education an option available to them.
