About

The Livability Project is a national campaign creating more livable communities through cross-sector collaboration. The Project is comprised of a network of individuals and institutions sharing resources and support for creating livable communities. Livable communities are those that use resources sustainably while preserving a desirable quality of life for residents. The creation of green local economies is paramount to livability, and is a primary focus of the project. The Livability Project supports local efforts through a unique, cutting-edge process of community engagement. This process leads participants through a cycle of awareness, vision and action,  and includes live and digital "Livability Mapping" to help plan, monitor and measure a community's collective efforts.
