Mass Localization:
The first gathering for Change SF was held Jan. 28th at Temple SF with the theme of Mass Localization. 150 people showed up for community networking, presentations by Bay Localize (Green Roofs and East Bay Clean Energy Alliance) and the SF Dept. of Environment (City Carbon Reduction Software - EcoMap). We also had a great night of music from DJs - Jared Blumenfeld (SF Dept. of Environment), Traffic (Ambi-sonic Collective), Syd Gria and Melyss (Opel Productions).
Our featured non-profit was Bay Localize
Classroom by Open Architecture was our featured challenge

What is Change SF?
An engagement series with the intention to excite civic engagement and community development around green projects through collaboration and culture.
Outcomes: Collaborative projects that can be worked on; possibly technology or nature related: community/school gardens, tree plantings, green roofs, low income solar, building weatherization - what ever the community decides. We strive to contribute to green jobs development and the enhancement of San Francisco’s position as an urban world leader in sustainable biology and technology based culture.
