Bodywork - More than a Massage

As a student at one of the nation's finest massage therapy schools, I feel that this group is necessary for several reasons. First, much of my career will be educating people on the wonderful benefits of massage therapy and its many modalities, which are often referred to jointly as bodywork. Second, I would like to throw away the old misconceptions about massage - we are therapists who help your body to heal itself, and our work can help people in pain, with illnesses and chronic problems. We, as facilitators, strive to bring your body, mind, and spirit into balance and achieve homeostasis.

I hope to brush away the cobwebs of old thinking and to bring to light the good that bodyworkers do, and all the many applications that our work can be applied to. We desire to help people, and our motto is "Healing the Planet - One Body at a Time." I firmly believe this, and I want to do my best to heal people.
