Dear folks, Just completed Day 1 of Keyline Design with Darren Doherty - lots of information and lots of good people. I've just written some objectives for the Living Skills Team (although we haven't met yet) so they are just temporary. I've also added Franklin's double workshop. What a wonderful Home Page! Thank you Celeste and others... I know it's time consuming work. Regarding the Living Skills Team - I've touched base with a few members but would like to hear from more... we're planning to meet when the schools return... our first workshop is a combined effort with the Garden Team, and that is a Living Foods workshop at Franklins. Whole grain mustard for the green coleslaw at the 100 mile dinner. Collect 1/4 cup mustard green seeds Soak seeds in dry white wine overnight. (Megalong valley), in a glass bowl. Beer works too I believe. Drain the liquid and keep for later use. Mash the seeds to break the seed coat. Return enough liquid to create a sauce type consistency. I added 1 teaspoon of local honey and a teaspoon of home grown crushed garlic. Keep in fridge. It thickens over time. Vinegar, grape or apple juice can be added to thin if desired. The original recipe I read suggested soaking for any time for to a week, but I had left this to the last minute and overnight it had to be… susan girard 17 days ago
