Olive Hackett-Shaughnessy, Storyteller~ www.oliveststoryteller.com … I will join the convergence for conscious change at Sharon Meadow to let the stories go free, for free, with a sense that I will be both stepping back to the bardic past when travelers came to market for a festive exchange of goods and news, while simultaneously leaping forward in time with the visionaries who dare to create a new sense of “the commons”. As a resident in the Outer Sunset for 27 years, I look forward to meeting my neighbors in this new way; in a free exchange of our gifts and dreams.

The Big ONE

A Village of Engagement for healthy body, home, family and community~

 

We are sending out an open invitation to all local Storytellers to come and share with the community their gift of story. This is a 100% non commercial event, nothing will be sold. It is free to the community and free to the participants and the non profit organizations who will create this “Village of Engagement.” This is first annual gathering of its kind in the Bay Area.

 

How to participate~

 

•We have room for 14 storytellers to give a 30-90 minute story telling session.

•You will be scheduled in the late morning, afternoon or late afternoon on Sat. or Sun. of your choice.

•There will be no amplification, the settings are intimate gatherings in open air tents within the village

•All participants are offering their storytelling as a gift to the community.

•Storyteller CD’s may be “given away” with a self addressed envelope for the receiver to send you a check after the event. As a reminder nothing will be sold at the convergence~
