About
The Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) International Section (ACRIS) established Regional Networks to support our members and colleagues around the world, and to promote conflict resolution capacity building. We encourage ACR members and non-members alike to join together to expand our field worldwide. The goal of the Regional Networks is to provide practitioners and conflict resolution organizations across the globe with mechanisms to strengthen networking, facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences, and promote a culture of conflict resolution in particular geographic regions.
The South America/Andean Region Network focuses on conflict resolution and peace building in Peru, Colombia, Panama, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. By engaging in research and analyzing South America’s extensive experience in conflict resolution, the network can further efforts to build sustainable peace and conflict transformation based on a variety of approaches and methodologies best suited to the unique needs and interests of South America’s Andean countries. The network invites practitioners and organizations from the region to share their knowledge and experiences in order to enrich activities among network members and between the Andean Regional network and colleagues around the world.
