Importante: Uso di Launchpad per la prossima fase del lavoro di traduzione
Da ora in poi per la traduzione dell'interfaccia (navigazione/messaggi di errore, ecc..) useremo Launchpad, un sito che supporta e permette di gestire con facilità lo sviluppo del software open source, traduzioni comprese. Per capire come si usa, dai un occhiata al Tutorial di Launchpad.

Hi Camilla! Is it mandatory to use Launchpad? Do we need to complete the texts and files' translation here or do we need to move to Launchpad to translate them? Marco Giustini 3:51 pm

Hi Marco, we have started using Launchpad as it is much easier for the technical guys to transfer the content directly to the live site. As a result, the work that has been done to date will need to be transferred onto launchpad in order to make the final launch of the Italian site much faster and easier. Is that ok? @Marco. This group was set up also to enable us to translate the WikiPages for the site (help, support pages, about section etc) - none of these are on Launchpad. So this group will continue to be used for that. Launchpad is only for error messages/navigation which we found will make it easier for the technical team to upload onto the new site. I can help to transfer the pages into launchpad if needed, but it would be better if this was done by an Italian person as I am sure I'll make mistakes. Camilla Burg 9:07 am

Co-creation of Translations in Italian
(please feel free to add comments to the discussion board as you progress on how we can improve this):
1. Take a look at the different translations listed above
2. Put your name down next to the translation (click on the little pencil under that window) which you would like to do based on how much time you have (there are shorter and longer translations)
3. Add an estimated time/completion date based on your available time.
4. When you've worked on the translation, add in the new time left or when you've completed it, add completed.
5. If there is anything you don't understand in English or aren't sure the quality of the translation, underline it and another translator will review this.
5. Once translations are complete, I suggest that each translation is reviewed by one other person
6. As a thank you for helping me us this, I would like to send each of you a copy of Blessed Unrest written by Paul Hawken (who was the visionary behind WiserEarth), so let me know your address (camilla).
