About
The Food Access Workgroup has been convened by Health Action to support program start-up and initial program development for the following projects to promote access to affordable healthy food in Sonoma County:
- iGROW: a grassroots, community engagement effort to connect people with resources to grow their own food -- in their own yards, with neighbors, or in a community garden.
- Sonoma County Food System Alliance: an ongoing forum with diverse stakeholders to envision, advocate for, and create a vibrant local food system.
Meetings are open to the public and are typically held the 4th Monday of each month from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Department of Health Services Prevention and Planning Division at 490 Mendocino Avenue, Suite 204, downtown Santa Rosa (at intersection with Seventh Street).
