About
Community Development has many faces and approaches.
Because of the vast diversity of communities, it is important to share tools that professionals can choose from, use and apply appropriate to the community where they are working. Aside from the key of listening, there is no 'one-size-fits-all' tool or approach, thus the need for a diversity of resources.
A Community Developer is someone who works to weave together a stronger, more vibrant and prosperous community. S/he can be a part of an NGO, municipality, neighborhood alliance, community gardener, and many more vehicles.
Please share any tools, lesson plans, stories, and links that you find useful in the work of Community Development.
Thank you.
