Deborah,

First off, it sounds like you're using an incompatible browser (could be an old version). I use Firefox 3 on Windws XP and never experienced such issues (circlings and freezes). WE also support Safari and Internet Explorer. Should this be the case (incompatible/old browser), you can find the newest version of each on:

Otherwise, this could be a bug/error on our system. I'll pass this on to Honore.

Deleting table is a bit tricky I must say. Currently, what you can do is to select an area before and after a table, then delete everything in between. Or, go to the HTML, find the code for the table, and delete it. Both are not very obvious.

To prevent it from getting copied in the first place, you can click on this icon , copy stuff there and click Insert. All tables and formatting will be stripped, and only the text will be copied.

Otherwise, just point me to the page in question and I can help fix it.

For over a month now, I have experienced long delays when I attempt to add a link ... the box pops up just fine but then that little ball starts turning and turning and turning and when it finally stops and i click on the line to insert the url, it more often than not once again signals the ball to start circling again.... I don't know if I am the only one experiencing this problem or just more aware of it because i add resources frequently and have been working on wikis ....

and speaking of wikis ... i often experience a 'freeze' which prevents me from continuing to enter content ... i have to do all sorts of finnagling to continue .... like save the document and open it again...

AND HOW do you erase a table if you've copied it from another document? Some of my wikis have formatting in them that I just cannot get rid of because I have pasted it from somewhere else....

Am i making any sense or just revealing my total lack of tech literacy?
