This group was formed at the Alliance for a New Humanity conference in San Jose, Costa Rica, March 11-13, 2008. Our mission is to connect people, who, through personal and social transformation, aim to build a just, peaceful, and sustainable world, reflecting the unity of all humanity.

Thanks for mentioning the Aspen Ideas Festival, and the Blessed Unrest Film... It will be interesting to see how the 'trailblazing technology which provides the platform for the world's first participatory film studio, ushering in a new era of citizen filmmaking' will be able to modify the vision within the book. It seems like a process analogous to the cooperative venture that was behind the WE Arundahti Roy film? There is so much talent out there in the media / social justice world... its hard not to look at efforts at collaborating on projects like this with optimistic anticipation... Hopefully it will have similar effect as the WE film or take it to the next level... peace
