When I created this group, I meant for it to promote all kinds of resource conservation. As we all know, reducing and reusing are superior to recycling. In our mainstream culture, for some reason, many people latch on to the world "recycling." I wanted the name of the group to be short, so I named it recycling leaders connect. I'd like discussion to be beyond common recycling and mainly on more advanced topics like recycling batteries and all kinds of plastics to reduce toxics in our environment.
As a resource for those of us involved in battery recycling, I searched for some organizational resources which could help people developing battery recycling options. Please note I have added a few organizations to our group regarding organizational knowledge (of toxic metals) and lead (as used in lead-acid batteries).
