hello interspirit,
sorry that you have been having trouble with the site. the "About" section does demand the users to preview before saving in order that there are less saves to the server. When you click the preview button, the box minimizes and appears in the top left corner of your screen with a red outline. It is hard to see if you are not looking for it. Once you have previewed, reopen the box and click save. This should then save your work. If the "must preview message" appears again after you have already previewed, i recommend copying all the text/code that you have entered into the "About" section and click "cancel". refresh your page and paste the information back into the editable space, preview and save. if you need any more help, i'll be glad to give you a hand. adam |

just a little question....
i am a network programmer -- and i build interactive websites - kinda like wiserearth. so, i am at least minimally familiar with how to do this stuff.
but i can't figure out how to update my profile. it tells me to enter info in the "about" section -- then that section insists that i "preview". when i preview, the information is not saved, and the data goes poof. how does this work? i been looking at this for how long now? a couple of weeks or more, since i joined, and it still doesn't work.
