WiserEarth UK

The Wiser UK group aims to bring together WiserEarth members based in the UK. We aim (among other things) to further the vision of WiserEarth and Paul Hawken in helping put up a mirror to the movement, to connect and create alliances between those working towards a more just and sustainable world. We hope that this 'flocking' effect will enable us to improve ...learn more

4th Wednesdays of the month, Bristol - Bristol Green Drinks meet - WE members welcome. RSVP to superconnector

Last Friday's of the month, Bristol - Bristol HubNub (drinks again!) - WE members welcome RSVP to superconnector.

24th-27th July, Reading - WOMAD. I'll be there with my family. Happy to meet up with any WE UK folks who'd like to say 'hi' in person.

Any event 'piggyback' suggestions in other areas of the UK welcome.  Being a 'host' for an event needn't take more than an hour or two of your time/month if you're interested in leading a WE monthly meeting - see Netsquared (http://www.netsquared.org/share/meetup) for a simple guide for weekly sessions....

Greetings

It has taken me a while to work on the S Y M P O S I U M 2 0 0 9 page. So, please have a look again.

You can also see some info about the place where it will be hosted, using the link to The Beshara School at the Chisholme Institute under organizations. Its education for a global vision, based on self inquiry and service, started in the late sixties. So, you are all very warmly invited, and if you cannot all make it to the symposium perhaps we can arrange for a special gathering for the WE UK group. The place is interested in understanding current global matters  with insight, and is supportive of all people in their endevours to find solutions effectively.

I'd be delighted to talk with you.

I Will be at an ASP event about collaborating in London on 24th September - anyone want to meet afterwards for a drink? Unsure of venue right now, but it will be central, and from about 7pm.

Hi Mike,

Re 17th December meeting in London.

Whilst I'd welcome the opportunity to meet up with everyone, travelling up to London from my home in Somerset for an evening meeting doesn't seem sustainable. So, I'm wondering if there's a way round this e.g. Is Peggy planning to travel to Bristol during her trip to the UK? Could we perhaps organise a teleconference in addition to the face to face gathering, for those of us who don't make it to London?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this.

Kind regards,

Sally
