Oops, let me amend the language I used in the below post.  The WiserEarth has made available an open-source version of its platform code, which the community can freely download and develop.  The WiserEarth site itself, however, is still operating under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 License, which is not the same as being open source.  It might be a bit confusing , so feel free to message me if you have any questions.

WiserEarth's is now fully open source!  The platform code has just been posted on SourceForge into a nice 4mb tar package for the community download.  We'll post up the accompanying documentation and support files as soon we can!

Thanks,

Hey Gregory

We've had a lot of questions about the open source aspect of WiserEarth. For starters, please review the following discussion:

If you still have questions, please do not hesitate to let the community know.

I heard that WiserEarth plans on going open source and I was wondering how and when this might happen?

Thanks...and keep up the fantastic work.
