Ian, thanks for your posting. I appreciate your honesty in your comment - certainly WiserEarth is directed toward nonprofit communities and the people that support their work. In this regard, any event that would help them in their work is perfectly fine.

New around here. I'd like to add a listing for an event happening in Monterey, CA June 2-5 of this year called Sustainable Brands 2008. Briefly put, it's a conference to discuss strategies for increasing acceptance and priority of green practices in business. I recognize that this community is largely void of business influence, and so I wanted to be certain the posting of such an event would be welcome here before I did so. While green business may not be the immediate mission of this organization, I would hope that any sincere effort towards sustainability in all aspects would be welcome.
It's just an event listing. I'm not a spammer or troll, just trying to get the word out about an event. Does the WiserEarth community object? I looked through the FAQ and couldn't see anything pertinent.
If there is someone specific I should be in touch with, please let me know that as well.
