This looks like a great idea! Maybe it could also feature resources for users who want to contribute to the wiki but are not sure of how to look up the information (details about each product, service, etc)..

I am working on a concept site called Consumer Aware. Its a high concept wiki that you can use to explore the sustainability of purchases on a per-product basis. Imagine being able to look up ANY product, service, brand, or company and find out what the particular consequences are to buying it.
I think it would be a great way to shift our perception to environmental and social issues.
What d'ya think?
