What are Areas of Focus?
The Areas of Focus on WiserEarth have been created to provide a comprehensive categorization or taxonomy of all the different areas of activity relating to the environmental and social justice fields. All entities entered into the WiserEarth database (organizations, people, resources, events, jobs) can be tagged with multiple areas of focus. This tagging enables visitors to find organizations, people, groups etc. within their issue area. Each Area of Focus links to a mini-website, where you can see a collection of information specific to their topic of interest.
