Noticed that in the last few days I'm getting signed out more often, without wanting to. Signed in this morning and wrote a big post which was lost when I hit reply and was invited to sign in again. Can anyone find the 'signing out' elf and have a word please? If the elf isn't playing just with me I guess people might be put off taking part?

Hmm, we had a problem with this mischievous elf in the past, but we put in a fix soon after we upgraded our servers to take care of it. I haven't come across it so far, so I'm wondering if your browser or cookies are somehow interfering. Do you have any automatic "clear out my browsing history" processes running in your browser?

Not so important if the elf is just here, I can learn to record comments before posting. Today it lets me stay signed in. Browser cookies in my safari seem to be removed only manually. Wiserearth has 9 cookies at the moment. Thanks anyhow, James

9 cookies? That doesn't seem correct - it's possible they're conflicting with each other and causing you to sign out. Can you try clearing out all the WiserEarth cookies only and starting over? It might well be the answer to your problem so far.

All 9 return after being swept out but maybe the new ones will be fresher and elf-proof. Thanks Honore!

Cool - I hope that does solve so me issues! Would hate to do all that work and not get much out of it, but do let me know if it worked or not. Sometimes that's all you can do when trouble-shooting - run down the list of possible fixes, and hope one of them fixes it!
