CLAY--
I LOVE YOU! I'm very interested in this. I had a great practice yesterday morning at the Boise Airport and then again yesterday afternoon at the Seattle Airport. I definitly noticed the folks trying not to look but being very interested and curious. I experienced this last time I traveled as well. I had the thought of purchasing the website yogainpublicplaces.com and then getting shirts printed with the website on it. Then we get masses or a few together and go to random places and practice. As people log into the sight we have info on where to take classes, workshops etc. I'll be back in town Tuesday and would be interested in going public with my practice somewhere next weekend. Any takers? Let's do it! -Grace |

Murdock,
Not only am I interested in your idea about 'YIPP' (maybe somehow 'YIPPY!') but I am a full proponent that we obtain a permit for our presence at First Friday in February, downtown SR. WE could set up a lavacious altar with fire and smoke, I'll bring and play the harmonium (I've been practicing), we asana our hearts out, both guided and freestyle, and we dress up, wearing either muted tones of purples, rose, and black, or go fuscia, neon yellow and blue. I get Will Nolan's speaker system and micrphones and we BROADCAST LIVE: MUSIC, ASANA, AND ECSTATIC, REAL-TIME PHILOSOPHY! (Do you know that philo-sophia translates as 'Love of Truth?'). Anyhoot, I'm all for it. I got some rather strange news Friday when my parasite tests came back positive AGAIN. But there's still plenty of hope for my mortal body. :) Who's IN? Clay |

Yoga needs to Explode, needs to Rip itself from the confines and Priviledge of sparkling Studios and explode as an empowering shower of Revelation and Inspiration.
The teachings of this sacred network of Eons of Practice and Insight need to sound through megaphones, through brightly colored teachers, banners waving and boomboxes playing.
We've got to strip the spandex off this Sacred Insanity.
If anyone is open to doing some seriously interesting street theatre (Say at First Friday, Santa Rosa?), Let's talk.
I am feeling ready to Get the Word out Big-time; Like, Sacred Obtrusive Loving Missionary Style.
