About
The first eco-guest house in a squatter camp. Community labour has built this little guest house from sandbags. It uses solar power for heating water and a bigas digester for processing sewerage. Visitors have the opportunity for a unique experience, and all the funds go towards buying medicines for our children's clinic. Here is a chance to feel the vibrancy of life in the township, try out African cuisine, learn about traditional music, interact with the youth in the recreational centre, play with the young children in the day care centre, plant food gardens or just relax and enjoy the sunshine.
This is a unique experiment - can a community generate its own funds?
