  • Anisha Microfin Association, a Microfinance Institution registered with Registrar of Comapnies under section 25 of the Companies Act 1956 and Reserve Bank of India, is currently involved in sustainable livelihood for rural women in Tamilnadu, India. Please see website www.anishamicrofin.org
    Anisha is launching a three year program, starting from Q2 2008, called ASDI (Anisha Sustainable Development Initiative)
    The program involves the following four areas.
  • Programs for 2008
  1. Training of Social change agents - Q2 2008 (require infrastructure funding U.S.$ 50,000 - land available)
  2. Large scale distrbution of Solar lanterns for village homes - Q3 2008 (Technology and product  prototyping    complete - require initial production funding U.S. $ 50,000)
  • Program for 2009 (Funds requirement will be posted later)
  1. Solar evaporators for drinking water - Q4 2009
  2. Bio-toilets - Q4 2009
  • Program for 2010
  1. Highly economic - All weather roofing and wall panels - Q4 - 2010
