Should the sanctions in Burma be dropped? Share your thoughts!
Personally I don't think the sanctions are working. I think they are hurting the people more than the military. If the people continue to be more and more preoccupied with finding ways to feed themselves and their family, how can they be empowered to organize a resistance? Dissidents continue to be arrested in mass, and the international community is showing almost no signs of intervening.
