Done. The title of the main forum seems to contain a typo too: "New Urhanism" instead of "New Urbanism". But this can be changed in the "Details >> Forum Info" section of your forum.
By the way George, have you considered creating a group instead of just a discussion forum? Groups allow for more types of content, collaboration and connectivity than discussion forums. Or perhaps carry your discussion over to existing groups? (if there is a relevant one). |

how do I unsupress the "flagged for review" comment on my post.. I believe at this point as a new user I would appreciate an editor doing a deletion of my post. I will resubmit my ideas and do a thorough proofread now knowing edits are not available. Thank you. |

Hi George,
At present it is not possible to edit a discussion title or any comment made. However, the ability to edit comments within 30 minutes after posting is under development at the moment (based on community member's suggestion in the WiserEarth Suggestions group, where you can also post your ideas/suggestion to improve/add WiserEarth's feature, interface, usability, etc.)
For now, the possibilities to help with your situation are: 1. "Unsuppress" your already "Flagged for review" comment. This can be done by users with editor status. I'm one of them and will be glad to do so. 2. If you feel the discussion thread will better off be deleted, any editor can also do this. After which, you can create a new discussion thread.
So, can you let us know which method you'd like to take and give us the URL of your discussion thread?
And perhaps you'd like to suggest the ability to edit discussion title within 30 minutes of posting? If so, please visit and post it in the WiserEarth Suggestions group., so other users can elaborate and vote upon your suggestion for implementation.

A few moments ago I began a new Discussion Group on New Urbanism and created a Subtopic posting in which I made a very unfortunate typographical error. In my header I spelled Survival Surviaval and I don't want people to think I am a moron. In addition, I flagged my own posting in haste thinking I was actually editing the post. We just implemented the ability to edit comments within 30 minutes of posting. However, discussion forum titles are still not editable once they've been created. What Bowo has already done would have been my suggestion - to simply have an editor delete the topic and to have it reposted. If you need the original text to create a new post, just let me know, and we can retrieve it for you.
