To prohibit two or more people from editing the same document simultaneously, and posting unsynchronized versions over one another, it sounds like Google docs is necessary. WiserEarth will not prohibit two people from downloading, editing, the uploading simultaneously, to my knowledge. I will ask the developers and get back with their suggestion. For now, suggest you use the one you know works.

Doug,
You can also use the Wikipages on your group page for text editiing, and you don't have to download/upload. You just click edit, and save, then it is published immediately. There may still be the possibility of some over lap, but it is another possible solution. I don't think wikis can be edited simultaneously, so it might solve the problem. Cheers, Martin |

after posting my comment, I realize that you are already using the Wikipages...so please disregard my comment.

After noodling around a bit, my suggestion is to use GoogleDocs to keep the information central and edit-able by all. I'd love for each of you to be able to update any pertinent information in that regularly.
I'd be happy to take responsibility for uploading the latest and greatest from that to WiserEarth, as I think WiserEarth has a lot of fabulous tools for the larger effort.
Agree? Disagree? Thoughts? Comments? Etc.?
