only to enjoy each others company, but also to bring up relevant issues
occuring in our neighborhood that we'd like to change. It's a great

The aim of a Green Dinner is to have conversation about green issues that matter to you and the guests who come AND to help weave the network of neighbor and friends together. If you already gather your friends and neighbors to talk about green issues, you are ALREADY having Green Dinners.

Use an Open Space approach. Whatever happens is what was meant to happen. Whoever comes are the right people.
It isn't costly. Just do potluck. Distribute an invitation as suits you--ask only people you know or ask complete strangers. Ask neighbors. Ask local experts. Pick a topic or let conversations emerge. Keep it simple. Rotate houses or go to local green restaurants.
Please keep green dinners neutral spaces. Attendees are not expected to sign petitions, buy anything, donate anywhere, join anything, or be judged.
