We are now seeing many print pieces coming out (some from not so "Green" companies") printed on 30% PCW paper and using soy-based inks. This seems to me like a nice step forward, but is that print piece "sustainable" by definition? How does a consumer or a designer know what truly is sustainable? Should we have standards (like LEED) that are very descriptive in what criteria needs to be met in order to be certified. What are your thoughts on this idea and what should the criteria be?
