Just wanted to suggest that alerts for an item in the watch list that is being edited by a particular user him/herself be left out from the "Watchlist Alerts" message in the top-right corner, AND in the email alerts.

I brought this up because, after a while I find it annoying that when I edit a wikipage in my watchlist, my edit gets counted as an alert... while I already know that it's being modified... by me! So, I have to reload the page I edited, each time, to make the alert message go away.
