When I search for "Regenerative Design Institute" (RDI) no organization comes up. So, I added a new profile, and it still doesn't come up. Then I found an earlier profile that exists through my personal profile. Why are these profiles not coming up in the search? How do we eliminate/merge the two profiles that now exist for RDI?

Hey, Lauren: Yeah, I was doing a search last night and had a similar result. Something must be wrong with the "Search" function for Organizations. I ended up browsing through page after page after page after page of organizations... to find the organization I needed. If you wish you can do the same, but patience is needed. Regarding duplicates, make sure you identify one keeper and one to lose (in the title is a good idea), consolidate everything you want into the keeper, and then tell an Editor or Administrator who will remove the 'loser'. Please accept our apologies as we get the search working again. Request for a profile to be removed by commenting on the profile page, this will bring it to the attention of the tech team, thank you.
Surely, and unfortunately, there will be duplicate organizations entered until the search is fixed again. In times like these, perhaps users can be "alerted" before they enter an organization that they should wait until our search function is up and running again. |
