Hi, I need help understanding how resources are lined up by wiserearth please. The current highest ranked resource in a search by rating is Online Certificate in Sustainable Business, which has one 5/5 rating and was last updated in June. I think this is a great resource, and there are many more great resources following it, until I found my effort at a resource Seven Policy Switches for Global Security on page 9. This has seven 5/5 ratings and was last updated this month. I'd previously thought that ratings on my resource would help people to find it but now the rankings are a mystery to me. Any clues or info would be very welcome.

This is somewhat a mystery to me too... anyone can explain?

Perhaps the 'explore resources by rating' feature just isn't working. Currently, visitors are shown that WiserEarth's best resources are endorsed by only one person. Resources endorsed by more people are hidden many pages back. Please could this be fixed?

Hmm, not sure - we'd probably have to dig into the original algorithm as made by Arash to see why the one with more 5 ratings isn't ranked higher. We're kinda tight on developer resources right now, as we're working full-time to upgrade our search engine to Sphinx and to also upgrade our platform to Sphinx 1.2, so we probably won't be able to get you an answer to this for awhile. :(

No worries, maybe it will fix itself with a new engine anyhow. Thanks for the news!

It could be fixed by the switch over. Let's wait and see.
