Looking for input for our purpose here on WE, goals and possible outcomes...?

Hi:  My suggestion for goals and possible outcome would be to educate and spread the word on what the other 90% are and need; and to provide resources for people to get involved locally and share their thoughts and learning here.  My personal, limited experience has been with Engineers without Borders, and Architecture for Humanity.

Good suggestion.  To that end, I signed up with Meetup to manage a monthly meeting -- Group 490 -- for Bay Area people interested in the who/what/where/why of the Other 90%.  Our first meeting happened 17 February.  In these meetings I would like to explore needs relating to products and services, pioneering design criteria, how to find and work with channel partners, strategic collaborations, new business and distribution models, and truly disruptive technologies.  Maybe someone from Engineers Without Borders would be a good speaker?
