CO2 ppm Crisis & Solution           Dec 11,2008 Thursday

Theoretically, today in the year 2008, 1 Billion People, add 1 ppm CO2 to the atmosphere per year by the activities of modern human civilization.
So, in 100 years, from the current population of 8 Billion People today in 2008, at a current atmospheric concentration of CO2 of 380 ppm, the atmospheric Carbon Dioxide Concentration will rise to approx. 1,180 ppm in the year 2108 which is similar to that of the Eocene Epoch 65 million years ago and with it consequently a concurrent rise in global temperature. This will theoretically happen if the current population is held at 10 Billion people globally and if it is as suggested that this CO2 rise is coming mostly from humans and inappropriate human activity!

If this then is the case, then, in order to counter this, the global population must be held at or below 10 Billion people and a 8 ppm reduction of CO2 gas per year must occur globally if the current level of 380 ppm here in 2008 is to be maintained and sustained and the global temperature is to be thus held steady or reduced to a norm or of about the 1988 level of about 15.8 degrees Centigrade or so which was before humans and humanity exceeded the planets biocapacity.

A mechanism of operation that could work would be to tie a dollar value of one dollar $ to the current global CO2 ppm concentration  of 380 ppm. The way this would work is that as the CO2 ppm rose between 5 - 10 ppm per year as projected the value of this dollar would decrease by 1 cent, thus in 100 years it would have a value of zero as the CO2 level reached it projected 1,100 or 1,300 ppm level. The currencies of the G20 and the 4 nation tribes could thus be tied to this dollar and the value of these currencies would equate to the measured level of the  CO2 emission of these nations. If an industrialized nation for instance emitted low levels or tons of CO2 there currency would have greater value as they were or would be or are contributing less to CO2 emissions. Thus incentive would be created for investment in CO2 capture and less CO2 production technologies in order to give ones nations dollar greater value. Done on a global scale it would or should eventually result in a general economic driven reduction in global CO2 and hence climate change and warming.
This could be reversed to cause cooling or warming as desired.
