How exciting to see this discussion happening or at least started. YES! It IS the experience that is the essence of the work that reconnects. Reading the book is the foundation and doing the work with others is where it comes alive, allowing a space for reconnection, for honouring how we feel about what's happening on earth, seeing with new eyes that there are beautiful possibilities and going forth to create a new future.
I'd really love to see other's thoughts about the work that reconnects and get some ideas floating around to see what emerges. What is in your heart? |

Clare is running another workshop on the 24th May in the Blue Mountains. I think it will be a great success, a lot of people are looking for this work right now. Looking for some tools to help reconnect.
Today I was struck with the idea of doing and being, and doing almost being an escape from being. Of course we must strive for some balance, but I think we need to be more.

I was drawn to looking into The Work that Reconnects after reading Tathra's profile about the work, and also from my friend Clare who went to Joanna Macy last August and did the workshop with her.
Clare ran a one day workshop last weekend on the Work that Reconnects inteh Blue Mountains, Australia. It was a wonderful experience to meet with so many like minded people, and to participate in the Truth Mandala, as well as many of the other practices.
I had read through the book some months before attending this workshop, and it was not the same. The experience was really the thing. Teh connection with others experiences was a major component.
It was really a great thing for Clare to bring this workshop to our community.
