Would it make sense to have an Outreach team that helps to systematically provide outreach to colleagues, practitioners, students, etc. (e.g., via conferences, meetings, symposia, and list-serves) and track the numbers of institutions, organizations, and groups that are included in our outreach efforts?

Yes, this does make sense. It also makes sense that someone with a super outgoing personality should take the lead on it. Say, JEANINE! Know anyone like that?! One thing that we will need to do somewhere is to have a little checklist of what to do as new members join. For example as they join they need to be raised to administrators so that they can make the changes they need to do within the site and so that we don't develop a two class system. |

Task Teams
In the original proposal submitted to NSF, the following breakdown of responsiblities were suggested. Please review and add your suggestions regarding the teams needed to complete the project.
(from proposal) The Core Participant group will be organized into eight development teams that are able to make best use of the opportunities, skills, and interests of the participants. Each team will be responsible for one aspect of the network function, but most team members will take part in the evaluation of curricula. Curriculum modules provide a standard for submission of lesson plans, references, visuals, integration of technology for data gathering, and assessment. Module evaluations will employ rubrics and other assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the network system. Teams will include:
