I'm curious to know how people in this group have decided to invest their savings??!? Do you trade online?
Have you joined a mutual fund? Are you happy with the outcome?

What sort of companies do you think we should be investing in? Is it enough to screen out bad companies, or should we be only investing in restorative firms??

The bulk of my investments right now are in mutual funds. I spent a lot of time trying to find the least 'evil' funds that have performed well historically. While I think I decreased my overall investment in companies that I'm philosophically opposed to, I still can't stand the fact that part of my money is still invested there.

I'm currently looking at socially responsible angel investing networks that allow people to pool their money and invest in businesses that align with their philosophies. I'm still researching this, so I don't have a lot of information about it, but the reason I started looking was because I knew that there must be other people like me who want to be proud of where their money is invested, instead of embarrassed.
