Hi all,

Just wanted to get a second opinion on this one:

http://www.wiserearth.org/organization/view/bec16056cc0e45533500293d47e2e11e

I realized that in some part of the world and in some indigenous cultures, mind altering substances are actually legal and encouraged. So this maybe something fit for inclusion in WE, but the thing is that it's for "youngsters who like to party". I'm leaning toward "out of scope" for this one...

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Bowo

Yes, Bowo, this group does seem to be about druggy partying; minds eluding reality rather than expanding into it. On the web we can't tell whether the group is more than one person (with no picture or history on wiserearth) or what actually goes on. For them, being members of wiserearth could give credibility for a funding application but for wiserearth there are risks to the credibility of the whole show, for example if something went wrong at Breakline and the media were looking for those who supported them.

It might be a really interesting project, perhaps easing people off drugs, but they don't need us to do that.

Good point James. Marking it "out of scope" just now. They can always file a complaint if they do have a strong case. Thanks!
