thanks, bowo. you always manage to make me feel better about myself for all my techie shortcomings.. oh and visualizations are now working! Was really exciting to show tonight at our initiating meeting of the MV transiton group.... we have four members, looking for 6 ... next meeting is at a pizza joint downtown with an organic garden and outdoor cafe ..... we're ready to work!

On someone's profile, "Invite to your network" equals "Let's be friends". Clicking on the link will pop up a small window where you can send a message explaining why you'd like to network / become friends. Otherwise, you can invite friends to join WiserEarth (and your network, a.k.a be your friends) via the "Invite your friends" link in the FriendFeed module of your dashboard. You'll need their email addresses. Nothing to be ashamed of on your part. More something we should be ashamed of for not making this obvious enough! So, very good feedback! |

This seems so elementary I am ashamed to ask. Did a search on it but was not successful. Im obviously just not seeing the option.... But time and again I go to someone's profile and see that i can invite them to my networks, my groups, etc. but cant find a place to ask them to become a friend..... What am I missing? (besides potential earthhanging friendships)
