Former CEO and founder of ZipCars, Robin Chase, takes it one step further. Carpool. They have an easy facebook application and they can tell you how much carbon emissions you save by traveling together as well as handling the shared fees associated with car travel.

I have not used this service, but I met Robin late this summer. I found her to be inspiring and go loco a brilliant idea and service.
