Hi guys,

As a related component of redesigning the org profile page, Shawn's also redoing how the Edit profile links.  Here's a preliminary idea that he has, which would move the Edit Profile link off the Action Bar and up to the top of the page.  Once a user goes into edit mode, the appropriate sections could be collapsed/uncollapsed as they make their way through the editing.  Any thoughts on this sort of navigation and if it would making editing easier and more enticing to do?

Showing the edit link:

Inside the editing section, with expandable/collapsible sections - a very rough draft so far, just to give the general idea:

I 'm good with this. Just wondering whether upon clicking Edit, we should have the Profile section automatically expanded or not. Not everyone would want to edit that. So, I'm guessing the initial view would be an all-collapsed view?

Hey Bowo,

Yes. The idea is that all the sections would be collapsed when the user enters the page.

Also, anyone else that has a quick moment...

1. Was it clear to you where to click if you wanted to edit the content?

2. Did you make the connection that there's two different editable sections of the page? Organization profile and Connections?

Thanks,

Shawn
