Administration of the Belzer Turtle Conservation Trust Fund was transferred from the Western PA Conservancy to the Vennago Area Community Foundation (OIl City PA) in 1998

Hi Bill,
Sorry about the fund being misrepresented on WiserEarth. Unfortunately as we tried to populate WiserEarth, we didn't have the resources to do all the due diligence necessary to ensure all the information we entered was accurate. What we did instead was designed WiserEarth, to be like Wikipedia. If you see something that is outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete, any logged on user can edit it. So I renamed the Belzer Turtle Conservation entry to Venango Area Community Foundation and included the information about the fund in the About section. But feel free to edit it some more and improve the usefulness of the entry for future users. |

While the information listed for the organization I direct isn't VERY outdated, there are some things that we'd update if we knew how to do that. How can one do that? Thanks much, John |

Hi John, if you go to your organization profile, you should be able to edit it once you are signed on to WiserEarth. Each organization page has "edit" links aligned on the right side of the page. Did you have trouble finding the edit link? If so, please let us know. Or did you not sign in to WiserEarth? - Mike
