Hey David, we can't get enough of you on the site... I think that you do not have access to post on discussions in groups that you are not a member of. Can you message me and tell me what discussion you are blocked from?

Hey, thanks for the response and the compliment. This is kinda crazy, because the rules you offer, which sound legitimate, don't seem to apply here. I am getting this message on both the "Discussion Forums" and on the "Groups" Forums, both on topics I started and those I have contributed to. On Michael Spalding's question "Green ISP", I could not respond, so did so privately. Ironically, I CAN respond on this one! I found that on the "Transit Survey" topic, in the CarpoolMania & Transportation Alternatives Discussion Forum, which both of us contributed to, and both of us are members, I now get that message. I am a member of the Gravel group, and contributed there, but have no access to topics I previously contributed to. I am not universally blocked, this topic being an example, and I can find others as well, but most seem to be blocked, and there seems to be no logic at all to it. I also just joined a group to see if I could post to the discussion topics, and I could not. I did have two things happen which may be significant. One, I had a hiccup on my own computer, I lost my password for WE, and had to get a new one through email. This happened about the same time as the start of this 'access' message. Two, I noticed on my "Activity" page in the past few days, there have been some "Access privileges modified" entries which I have no idea about. However, these are simultaneous with real activity on my part. In the topic by "Windwalker" on being unable to post to topics, it looks like he is having the same problem--can't post to topics--and I have no access to his topic. Uh, have I, like, been given a 'time out'? I found a couple of days ago that most, but not all, of the time I see this at the top of discussion topics, even some I started or contributed to. Solar Mass Ejection? NSA? [Hope they don't see this.] Is there a bug loose?
