Warm greetings to everyone.

Please call me Narda. I was born in Israel, in the UK since1987, a mother, a grandmother. Though I have been working as an Artwear designer in Oxford and London for many years - I now live in Hawick in the Scottish Borders, scaled down to a little shop on the High Street making and selling jewelery and natural fiber clothes - my main passion for over the past two decades has been the education concerning the Unity of Being - both as a student and a writer.

In the early 90's we have organized and held courses and seminars for Beshara at our home, the Old George in Burford, on a voluntary basis. I began writing poetry in 2004 and designed and published my first book in 2007.  I have been designing publicity material for the Chisholme Institute this year, also on a voluntary basis. Recently started A Modern Vernacular of OneSelf group on WiserEarth as for many years I have been quite besotted by a growing sense of an emergence of a new universal spiritual vernacular. It is similar to this poetry group in purpose, so you are most welcome to contribute there, short articles or stories instead of poems.

As a member of A Greener Hawick (under Transition Scotland), I saw a great potential and benefit in starting also the new regional platform, A WiserScotland as I feel that Scotland as a whole is not only a strong participant in the response to the current global crisis, but that Scotland has become a home for quite a few leading educational-spiritual organizations and communities of their kind.

In my little spare time I like cooking and watching good films.

I am really delighted to see such a good response in such a short period of time and hope for a lot more contribution from you.

Now that you have joined, may I suggest that it will be good if you;

1. Introduce yourself here - what are you working on/contemplating right now, and what moved you to join this group?

2. Send a message to other members - go to send a group message under Group Tools the group's home page - or invite new people to the group
3. Also, if you haven't had the chance, don't forget to fill out your about section so that other people on WiserEarth can read about your project or interests
4. See who else is in our group and say hello to others

With gratitude for your poems and best wishes

Narda
